Beautiful flower-like image. I see you are using Picasa to upload your images. Have you tried just using blogger from the new post edit screen? I used to use Picasa to upload and from time to time had problems with image size. Blogger itself seems to take care of image size issues when you use their program. Give it a try and see if that works. Email me if not of this makes sense. I just woke from a nap and my head is not completely clear yet. :-)
Ohhhh, this is so soft. It appears like a big jelly fish, or amoeba.
May I ask Tree what is meant by "the new post edit screen" in blogger. I've been having virtually no luck uploading pictures with blogger for almost a month now.
Evy, go to your blogger dashboard (click on the blogger icon in the upper left corner of your site). On the dashboard, next to your blog name will be a green plus sign under the "new post" title. Click on it and it will take you to the create new post screen. You will see an icon (to the right of the abc spell check icon) that allows you to add pictures. Click on that icon and a box will open that will allow you to add an image from your computer or add an image from the web. Just choose your layout and image size and click upload image.
Now the image is loaded on the main edit screen. Add whatever text you want to the picture and then click the publish post button and then blogger does it thing.
I've been using this method for over a year now with no problems. I used to use Picasa but ran into the same issues as Oliviah, esp when people with IE tried to view my blog.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Peace.
Oliviah, your fracs are so much more interesting and impressive than my silly little efforts. What flower is this? It seems I've seen it before....perhaps in a dream. Lovely image.
trée, every time I try to use that method blogger freezes when I click "done" and then it says, "this program is not responding." The only way I have been able to get images to post is to resize them, larger, of all things (to 800 X 600). I tried sizing them the same as the images on the screen but that didn't work. I am at a not-so-good point with an insomnia bout & don't feel like even resizing so the image has stayed this way. What is it you said you use besides IE? IE is being a pain lately. Bleh.
Agnes, oh no, I think that about YOUR flames! That flower flame felt so soothing, like a soft kiss. Dreamy. Comforting for these sleep deprived & burning eyes.
Thank you daddy. I loved the sheer softness of it. Glad you like it, too.
Oliviah, I use Firefox and would highly recommend it for more reasons than I have time to list. You can download it here.
Tabbed browsing is the bomb. And the extentions and themes are to die for. I give it my highest recommendation. Besides, all these images look better on Firefox for some strange reason. :-)
