time after time...

Lying in my bed
I hear the clock tick and think of you
Caught up in circles
Confusion is nothing new
Flash back...
Warm nights
Almost left behind
Suitcase of memories
Time after time

Sometimes you picture me
I'm walking too far ahead
You're calling to me
I can't hear what you said
Then you say, Go slow
I fall behind
The second-hand unwinds

If you're lost you can look
And you will find me
Time after time
If you fall, I will catch you
I'll be waiting
Time after time

After my picture fades
And darkness has turned to gray
Watching through windows
You're wondering if I'm okay
Secrets stolen
From deep inside
The second hand unwinds

If you're lost you can look
And you will find me
Time after time
If you fall, I will catch you
I'll be waiting
Time after time

Time After Time, Cyndi Lauper Posted by Picasa

This fractal feels kind of threatening but it's pretty in a strange sort of way.

Wow, just noticed this is the first image I've posted with lyrics since last month. Didn't realize it had been that long. I've really been absent in a lot of ways, which is part of my memory problem. When things are going better I am able to find lyrics or a bit of poetry that expresses the way I feel in the fractal a little better but when I get overwhelmed, just posting the fractals seems hard enough.

Not threatning to me, Oliviah. It's beautiful with the focus and unfocus. Goes well with the song.

Great to see you back at the fractals! And I don't find this in the least threatening. The colour purple against the black is warming. Then that song....this is the first time I've ever seen the lyric in print & at first I was thinking you'd written a poem. Then it dawned and I could hear it in my head. A classic, sung by Cyndi, another classic, played by Miles Davis. I love them both equally, so now I have an excuse to plant Miles on the pc, for Mile! Big thanx.xxx

Olivia, I love that song. Took me a moment to realize that it was a song at all. As for the pattern - I love it. It reminds me of the hounds-tooth pinafores my Grandma (Her name was Olive) used to make for me when I was a little girl. And I adore purple. Hope you are having a sweet Friday.

Beautiful fractal. It reminds me of woven lace and has a great 3D feel to it. Well done.
