life is like a banyan tree, root and branches are one

So was I once a swinger of birches;
And so I dream of going back to be.
It's when I'm weary of considerations,
And life is too much like a pathless wood
Where your face burns and tickles with the cobwebs
Broken across it, and one eye is weeping
From a twig's having lashed it open.
I'd like to get away from earth awhile
And then come back to it and begin over.

I wish I had simply titled this: "Life is like a Banyan tree" because the title I gave it totally limited the thoughts behind the posting of this image.

Maybe clicking on the image will make that make sense.

You have such a beautiful way with words. Sometimes it would be very nice to start all over again, at others.

I love your fractals. Are banyon trees common in Florida?

Found a quote that you may like:

Thanks for the visit

What a cool image, and wonderful sentiment to go with. Perfect - and yet so wistful...I know how you might feel. I thought of you, tucked away into my backpack as I slung it over my shoulder all over Italy... hope I didn't crush you too much :-)
