That one is one of my favorites...I am only disappointed to see that saving it as a jpeg seems to have "flattened" the image...I strive for dimension, love translucency...I want them to look "alive", lol. So glad to see other fractal lovers...thought I was a loner in my thrill of them. Yay!
"Alive" is a good word for it. Your work is so vibrant!
Did you do this one with Apophysis? It has the hallmarks of an IFS. Quite gorgeous: I love the right angles and Euclidean geometry of it, contrasted with that trademark flame-fractal grace.
You are right, I used Apophysis and hooray for Apophysis! I am having so much fun! It is so easy to use that I didn't bother reading the tutorials...reading them now I am amazed at how much more can be done with it than I knew.
