It looks vaguely Escherian, as though it was snipped in a few unspecified places and folded impossibly back on itself. I can almost see flights of stairs in the ridges along its spirals.
It originally was colored vibrantly but I stripped it to the point of almost dryness in order to convey feeling--the beauty and sadness of one wanderers' life. Without roots, forming no real emotional attachments. His life a journey of endless cycles, vague delusions. A certain vulnerablity still lingering wistfully in intricate detail...yet even that itself fading. Oblivious, he wanders on...
Almost all of my fractals are feeling oriented. The quats are not. Your view of an Escherian effect fits this remarkabley well...a life...snipped in a few unspecified places, folded back impossibly on itself...I can almost see the flights of stairs...how incredibly appropriate.
