Watching Over You
I loved you before you were born. Nothing is more precious than to watch you while you are sleeping. You are so beautiful, you take my breath away. You are my child, you are my greatest joy. And my heart will always be watching over you no matter where I am. This song made me think of you: "All through the night I'll be watching over you, and through the bad dreams I'll be right there, baby. Holding your hand, telling you everything is all right. And when you cry I'll be right there telling you...you were never anything less than beautiful. So don't you worry, I'm your angel standing by" Jewel, Angel Standing By

That one's a trip! And what a beautiful tribute you wrote to your daughter.
Oliviah, I don't have the words to do justice to both the image and the tribute. You are in a league of your own my dear. Astonishing.
Wow!! I was totally blown away by the image you posted. Magnificent work. Care to share how you did it??? Really amazing.
There is much depth of feeling in the fractal and the words, well done Oliviah
This was a zoom on the flame I posted Mon. Sept 26th. I wish I knew how I got that effect. (I wish zooms didn't take so long to render!!!) I assume it was tweaked from a random batch because I don't see any script identifier in the paramaters. (like: p-Apophysis 100505-25) Dzneni, what method do you use to make a note on how you acchieved a specific effect? There are a lot of flames I have made and have no idea how I made them, nothing to reference to.
Oliviah, do you remember how much you zoomed in and the length of time it took? I thought I recognized it but didn't take the time to go backwards.
daddyjarbucks, it took about 5 hours to render that, I made it larger (3000x2400) than the original flame (640x480)plus the zoom increased the time. Original rendering time was about 4 minutes. The zoom itself wasn't that deep. But I couldn't do anything else on my computer while it rendered, ground it to a halt.
That would have been a 48 hour one for my computer, at least, at that size, and I understand the- - -don't do anything else while it does it's thing.
Hi Olivia,
I am terrible! I don't make any notes on how to create a specific effect. I usually know which variant I am using and if I use a script will know which script I used. Much of the time am just looking for "interesting" flames and playing with them to see what happens. Not very scientific.
Love this graphics.
Take Care
Michael
I have no idea what that image was supposed to mean, but the moment I saw it, a feeling of nausea swpet me.
I am sorry, it doesn't look like an appropriate comment for your honest effort, but I said what I felt.
