How in the heck did you get an effect like this??!! It looks like you took a bunch of yarn and a sewing machine....

Is this a fractal, a photograph, a bit of both, neither? I'm so naive!

R.

P.S. I think it's fantastic.

Ahh, Oliviah. This one looks like my brain feels right now. The fabric of life is unraveling. Well done.

Ok, this might sound stupid, but as soon as I saw this one, it flashed me back to when I was little and my mom had made me a Holly Hobby western shirt. I had my school pictures taken in it, and the fabric pattern was similar in colors, textures, ect... very neat!

I haven't been online, the neurologist put me on medication which wipes me out the day after I posted this one. Ironically, the image fits the brain problem. Apparently, I have been having seizures (not grand mal but the ones that last only seconds), they found this on my EEG.

So now I see sharp spike brain waves in the fractal & then the smoothing of them as the memory loss which happens when I have them. Oddly enough, this isn't the first time I posted a fractal that eerily depicted something going on in me that I was unaware of.

The neurologist also told me I have nerve degeneration & she scheduled me for 4 MRI's. The first ones are on Thursday. Woo hoo.

The good news is, she put me on some medication that relieves the burning that the nerve deteriation causes. The bad news is, my insurance doesn't cover it. I am using samples that she gave me for now and they knock me out but oh, it is good to have relief from the pain.

Oh, and other good news for those who knew about the cancer surgery. The scarring is very, very minimal--NOTHING like they told me it would be. All I have is a little scar in the shape of a kite on my cheek. No big deal. Yay!

I am sorry I haven't been able to visit anyone's blogs, I hope everyone is well and happy.

Oh, and evydense, it is a fractal, made with Apophysis with the background selected white & then I used a blurring filter.

And sleepless dream, lol! That reminds me of a little quote I loved as a kid. "O velvet bee, you're a dusty fellow--you've painted your wings in gold!"

Sherri, if you see this, send me an email and let me know how you are doing. Hopefully, I will be emailing you tomorrow (if the meds will let me).

Mackeydoodle, those are happy ants, eh?

Stormy, how neat that you posted a comment! I like it when you pop in!

Daddyjarbucks, I think you will feel so much better after your fishing trip with Grampaspeedo.

kshippychic, that is so cool. I am glad it made you remember something pleasant.

*am wiped out now, gotta go to bed...hope all you good people are well.

Beautiful. I've been mucking around wih Apophysis for an evening now, but the only things I seem to be able to create look less like art and more like splats. I'd love to know how you made this.

Oh wow, that's so cool. I can't believe you got that from fractals, though. But, knowing you, as I do...you did just that.
You haven't posted in a while, I hope you're doing okay.
