A man should learn to detect and watch that gleam of light which flashes across his mind from within, more than the lustre of the firmament of bards and sages.
Yet he dismisses without notice his thought, because it is his.
In every work of genius we recognize our own rejected thoughts: they come back to us with a certain alienated majesty.
Ralph Waldo Emerson

Another haunting image and quote. I love the way your mind works my dear sweet woman. My blogosphere would not be the same without you. Hugs and kisses. :-)
Ooooo WOW
You.... are a GREAT artist!
I Love your work.
Trée, I hesitated about rendering that image because of it's extreme simplicity & apparent insignificance but when I remembered this quote, the image became significant and was transformed in my mind from extreme simplicity to supreme simplicity.
Dave!!! How nice to have you visit! And thank you very much, you are too kind. :)
What a wonderful quote! Everytime I visit a site and a fractal image pops up, I like to do a "Rohrschat (sp?) blot test" kind of thing with it. What's the FIRST reaction I have to the image? This one took me back to when I was a kid and my parents had taken me to the circus. There was this guy who was doing plate spinning, and he had about eight plates spinning simultaneously on the top of long poles. It always fascinated me how he did that (and still does!). This image of yours released all those memories in a huge flood. Thanks. It was good to be at the circus with my folks again!
Beautiful! I too love the words you choose for your images - makes me think!
I like everything about this piece. The colors, the angles. Very smooth. Beautiful!
Oliviah, I have found that some that I think of my own are insignificant, have been recieved better than ones that are really complicated. I really like studying this, each single strand.
I love the quote.. Hope all is well with you. We are back..
Just saying "Hi". Hope things are Ok.
